The Fun:
A young man who was to go on a Family Focus adventure for his birthday sadly found himself back in the hospital. Always a somber moment when things like this occur, but a pivot to the Orchard Program presented an opportunity to still do something positive for this child for his birthday. His mom shared his great love of the family pets and a new puppy who had just joined the pack. The animals are how he engages the world. Thus the “ultimate” dog gift basket came into being and greeted him upon his release from the hospital.
The Spooky:
TeeTurtle reversible Spooky Pumpkins, which become Eight Eyed Spiders when reversed. Many made their way to several hospitals throughout Georgia. Serving as a holiday decoration and then being given new children to love.
